Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were inseparable after they met for the first time. Ashley was just 17, and she had never been married before. They took the relationship quite slow. However, it was true love at first sight. Andrew asked at New Year's Eve just before the new year began in 2016, praying that God would grant him a last blessing this year. It was also hoped that Ashley would be his bride. Ashley really wanted a woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her as well as Andrew. In order to create the perfect wedding, they took a bit from everything they cherish. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of land Ashley was raised on. Ashley had a good understanding of the whole area, having walked through it and playing in the area. Andrew and Ashley also had been to this location numerous times prior to when they started dating. Because almost everything was made by the groom and bride, the personal touch was crucial. Andrew's father and Ashley and Ashley designed the ceremony and arches for the seats. Ashley made and painted several of the wedding decors. Ashley states that she would have been disappointed if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral had not completed her incredible floral design to us, our wedding could have lacked the magic I was hoping it would. Simply stunning.
